They actually hack into their payment gateway system and collected the discount vouchers for those Marketplace website and use them to cheat these E-Commerce web john and Flipkart myntra Jabong and many other E-commerce website for about 90 lac rupees.
If you are selling products online and if you're confused about UPC and barcode then this is the best video for you. UPC is nothing but unique product code and it is in the format of a barcode which is normally scanned for every retail consumer products. Remember that every product has a unique product code and it cannot be the same all across the world. All eCommerce website flipkart ShopClues Paytm eBay Snapdeal have the same UPC code for one particular product. It is not like that a single same product for every Marketplace will have a different UPC code. It will always be the same no matter which Marketplace you are selling the product.
If you are planning to buy products from an online Marketplace and then trying to sell it again on an online Marketplace, maybe if you buy a product from Amazon and plan to sell it on Flipkart then legally it is not allowed however, there are many people who does it this way but you have to remember that while purchasing online you do not get input credit of tax. So whatever the tax you collect from the customer you have to pay that entire tax to the government Sales Tax Department. So it is always advised that you have a VAT and CST number to do online transaction so that you are safe and also adding value to our indian government.
If you want to sell products online and want to increase the sales online then you have to always ensure that you send a follow up mail to the customer asking them to review your account or give you a feedback based on the product and the services you have provided to the customer. This feedback helps you to get lot of benefits in the future such as more sales, more visibility of the product, customer trust, and most importantly you can also avail easy loan from Marketplace websites through the tie up they have with Finance Companies.
And lastly we have done a question answer session based on the questions that are asked in the past couple of days.
